It's Tent Tuesday!

Tuesdays needed a little help.

So we’re giving the slowest day of the week at River Rock Central Park a bit more personality. Welcome to Tent Tuesday - our weekly mystery promotion where you never quite know what’s going to be waiting under the tent.

Some weeks we’ll pull out a great deal on gear, footwear or clothing. We might dig into the back room and find something that really needs to find a new home. Other Tuesdays could bring a Golden Ticket, a freebie, a snack, a free service or something we haven’t even thought of yet.

That’s part of the fun.

We've made it easier than ever to shop local and now we need your help putting our newest shopping options to the test.

Pick up your Adventure Access Passport at either River Rock Outfitter location, complete all five ways to shop, and turn in your passport by September 20 for a chance to win a gear package valued at $1,000.

Whether you stop by the store, reserve online for in-store pickup, order online, have your gear delivered the same day through DoorDash, or connect with us on social media, every stop on your passport helps us improve the way we serve our community.

Passports are free, available at both River Rock locations, and only one completed passport is needed to enter.

We’re teaming up with Whittingham & The Kitchen at Whittingham and Chef Doug for a camp cooking class that takes dinner around the fire up a few notches.

September 19 at Noon

Chef Doug will show us how to make a seriously good meal using cast iron - plus we’ll talk equipment, cast iron care, and how to take what you learn in class straight to the campsite.

We’re partnering with Whittingham & The Kitchen at Whittingham and Chef Doug to tackle one of our favorite challenges: How do you make an actually great meal when your entire kitchen is basically three square feet?

Think camper. RV. Van. Tiny camp kitchen. Limited equipment. Very little counter space.

Chef Doug will show us how to pull off four courses without needing a full-size kitchen because eating on the road does NOT have to mean lowering your standards.
