leaning in: working with resistance
We all carry fear. Fear of heights. Discomfort. Speaking up. Trying something new. Going on an adventure. Believing in ourselves. And, of course, fear of failure.
That’s the human experience.
This evening is dedicated to exploring the resistance that often stands between us and the things we want most - traveling to unfamiliar places, training for new adventures, improving our well-being, or simply stepping outside our comfort zone.
The good news? We are built for resilience, curiosity, and growth. Science shows that we can train ourselves to move through fear instead of being controlled by it.
Join us for a thoughtful evening designed to spark conversation, reflection, and momentum.
Cost: $15

Stoves and Filter Systems
Fuel and water are non-negotiables - get them wrong and the whole trip unravels.
In this clinic, we’ll break down stoves and water filters in plain terms - what works, what doesn’t, and how to use them efficiently in the field. Leave with a clear system for cooking and clean water so you can operate confidently, not guess your way through it.
Led by Don Alberto, an experienced trekker and outdoor educator, this clinic combines hands-on learning with real-world advice from the trail. You’ll walk away with practical knowledge, personalized tips, and a stronger connection to the community of adventurers around you.
