Trek Talk: Cotopaxi & Chimborazo - the Volcanoes of Ecuador
Free to attend – Just bring your adventurous spirit!
Two volcanoes. One unforgettable expedition.
In January 2025, a team of determined adventurers set off on a two-week journey through Ecuador, culminating in attempts to summit Cotopaxi (19,332 ft) and Chimborazo (20,562 ft)—two of the highest and most iconic stratovolcanoes in the Andes.
This Trek Talk explores the highs and lows of the adventure:
- The rigorous training required to take on high-altitude climbing
- The technical challenges of glaciated summits
- The breathtaking landscapes of Ecuador's highlands
- And the moments—both humbling and triumphant—that come with pushing your limits in the mountains
Whether you’re dreaming of your own high-altitude goal or just want to live vicariously through incredible stories of grit and altitude, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.
PLUS: All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a Cotopaxi gear prize package (yep, the brand, not the mountain).
Come get inspired. Ask questions. Dream big.
This talk is open to all—no mountaineering experience required, just curiosity and a love for big adventures.
