Looking to level up your fly fishing game or finally understand what’s on the end of your line? This is your entry point.
Join local expert Michael Taggert for a hands-on Fly Tying 101 session where you’ll learn four foundational fly patterns you can actually fish with. No experience required. No gear required. Just show up.
Michael brings serious credibility to the table, recently earning a Silver Medal from Fly Fishers International’s Fly Tying Group, along with leadership roles in Trout Unlimited and regional fly fishing communities.
This isn’t theory. This is practical skill-building you’ll use on the water immediately.

Following the talk, Beau will host a book signing for his newest release, Healing Waters: Veteran's Stories of Recovery - a collection of stories highlighting the role of fly fishing in veteran healing and recovery.
We’ll be hosting a raffle in support of Project Healing Waters, with all proceeds benefiting the local chapter.
