GirlsGO! Adventure Series Part 4: Trail Mix-er
Date: May 6th,
Time: 9AM – noonish
Location: Caledon State Park
Cost: FREE if you attended at least one of the previous Adventure Series Workshops. $5 if this is your first opportunity to participate!
We’ve prepared our adventure journal and now it’s time to hike one of our favorite local trails and meet new friends (the “mix” in Trail Mix-er). If you’ve attended any one of our Adventure Series Workshops, then this hike is FREE – a bonus for participating.
Your guides are April Peterson (owner) and Sarah Southard (hiking guide) from River Rock!
The plan –
We will meet at Caledon State Park in the main parking lot at 9AM. From there we will hit the trail! The trail is approximately 4-miles long and will include a stop at river! We will meander our way back to the parking lot where we will enjoy a snack/light lunch together. The trail is easy but just keep the distance in the mind and know your limits.
This is a great opportunity to pair up with an adventure buddy and get to know other local hikers in our area.
What to bring –
- Light day pack with at least 2L of water
- Weather appropriate clothes and hiking shoes
- A snack or light lunch (there is no refrigeration so pack something that won’t spoil)
We will reach out to you as we get nearer the event to provide you with any additional details.
If you have any questions regarding the hike, please feel free to email us at email@example.com and we will be happy to answer those questions.
